Kick-off Notes

Matthew explained the vastness of our calling (2 Tim 2:1-2, Acts 1:8) and how each task is first met with provision from the Lord in learning from the Word and power from the Spirit.

Danny established our challenge in love and care, preparing us for a month of faithfulness and trust instead of performance and guilt.

Chrissy gave us hope in the form of an analogy. Airplane flight has many components: ground check, takeoff, midflight, approach and landing. Our gospel conversations have similar components, and it’s ok to practice them. How to start a conversation is sometimes just as difficult as turning it to the gospel.

GOvember gives us LOTS of practice. We’re aiming for initiating 222 spiritual conversations this month (because 2 Tim 2:2).
